To kick off Heart Month, the Illinois Heart & Lung Foundation is once again partnering with Advocate Heart Institute at BroMenn Medical Center and Heartland Community College to provide a second annual FREE Community CPR/AED training.  This certification class is also supported by volunteer community CPR/AED Instructors.

Our goal is to support our AED grant recipients to fulfill their CPR/AED certification compliance. It is also an opportunity to inspire community members to save lives.

According to the National Institute of Health, 80% of sudden cardiac arrest deaths occur outside the hospital.
