FEBRUARY is Heart Month. The Illinois Heart & Lung Foundation, in partnership with Advocate BroMenn Regional Training Center and University High School will hold the 4th annual FREE community wide CPR/AED Training.

An estimated 1,700 lives are saved each year in the United States due to bystander intervention and early use of an AED. Ninety percent of SCA occur outside of a hospital. Seconds count during cardiac emergencies- the faster the response to someone who is in sudden cardiac arrest, the better their chances for survival.

The public is urged to learn CPR and how to use automated external defibrillators (AEDs) to help save lives threatened by sudden cardiac arrest (SCA).

Lecture – Adult, Child, Infant and AED

Skill Stations  – Practice and skills testing to be conducted by instructor

Registration will open Monday, December 3, 2018

Attendees must register as space is limited.
