Eighty-eight community members were trained at our free CPR/AED training in February.

The Illinois Heart & Lung Foundation hosted two free CPR/AED trainings in partnership with Advocate Heart Institute at BroMenn Medical Center at Heartland Community College on Saturday, February 27th. Our goal was to provide Operation Revive operation-revive-smgrantees and community members an opportunity to receive CPR/AED certification. Increasing bystander intervention significantly improves sudden cardiac arrest survival rates. As a result of our training, McLean County how has 88 newly-certified community members ready to intervene in the event of a cardiac emergency.

A very special thanks to our McLean County CPR/AED instructors for teaching our 88 students!
